My husband and I purchased our first home this past year. We were full of doubts and anticipation, worrying about problems like whether or not we would qualify for a loan, whether or not we would get a fair deal, and whether or not we could find a home in our price range in the neighborhood we wanted. We looked at a great deal of houses in the late summer Texas heat. I am the first to admit that we were a bit picky. We knew just what we wanted and didn’t want to settle. Angie was on time or early to every appointment we had with her; something I greatly admire.
During the home-hunting process, Angie’s expertise allowed us to see “more” of each home than we would have alone; or perhaps with a different realtor. She made sure we looked through each house thoroughly and discussed pros and cons with us. Angie asked the homeowners and/or realtors questions we never would have thought to ask, and allowed us to more accurately picture our family in each potential home. When it came time to put a contract on a home, Angie made sure we asked for a fair price. Her expertise in this area allowed us to purchase our home for an amount well below what was being asked for it. She also made sure the home was delivered from the previous owners in an acceptable condition.
